Since many people refer to our Convent grounds simply as “The Hilltop”, we have decided to call our blog: “Thoughts from The Hilltop”. We hope you will enjoy reading it.
We plan to use this space for several regular features: news about the Sisters, important things happening in the Church, some teaching, and links you might find helpful. From time to time there will other types of items, and hopefully some photographs.
We are in the midst of the Year of Faith, which began on October 11, 2012 and will end on November 24, 2013. In announcing this special time, Pope Benedict XVI stated that its primary purpose is to encourage all Christians to be more deeply committed to the Faith of the Church which they have professed as their own.

We also recommend that you explore this excellent program by Father Robert Barron: http://catholicismseries.com/ It provides superb teaching on the basics of the faith – for both Catholics and non-Catholics.
The Sisters of All Saints wish you all many blessings in 2013. May it truly be for you another Year of Grace.
A closing word: Please remember in your prayers the Joseph Richey Hospice, celebrating 25 years of ministry to adults, and Dr Bob’s Place (hospice for children) celebrating 1 year of ministry to children. We will tell you more about them in our next entry. If you want to know more before then, the web addresses are:
God bless you.
