Friday – March 22, 2013
So much has happened the past two months. It is enough to leave one breathless.
First, the amazing act of humility on the part of Pope Benedict XVI, then the time praying for the Cardinals before and during the Conclave, the anticipation of waiting to see white smoke and then of sitting-on-the-edge-of-the-chair to see who would come out onto the balcony of St Peter’s, and, finally, on St Joseph’s Day the Installation of Pope Francis.
Now, right around the corner, Palm Sunday is here, and we enter into the holiest and most intense week of the Christian Year — the celebration of our redemption.
This week needs to be kept as special as possible, with participation in the special liturgies as schedules and other responsibilities allow. We have posted below the schedule for the special liturgies at All Saints Convent, and welcome those who wish to join us – though, as far as possinle, it is better to be at your parish celebrations.
Our prayers for all of you are that this Holy Week will be a time of deep and free openness to God’s merciful love for you — personally!
With love from all of the Sisters at All Saints
